English Skeet

Up from the club house on the south side of the hill, dug into a steep bank is carrick Glens championship Skeet Range. The area is set up to throw clays in singles and doubles from 2 trap houses located at opposite ends of a semicircular arc. There are seven shooting positions around the semicircle and one in the center on the rear line.

The high banks surrounding the area keeps the shot confined and adds to the overall safety of the course.

This area is ideally situated with the sun always to the shooters back and some of the best views from the property as you look down over the gorse covered  grounds all the way to the sea.
