The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is there when you need to take a break, get out of the rain or just catch up with friends. Sit around in front of a roaring fire in the large fire place. A hot mug of tea, a sandwich and sit with friends. A great place for your spouse or partner to relax while you "bag" a clay pigeon!
The kitchen area is there for your use at any time during the day. Nicely equipped with a stove top, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and kettle, all the basics are covered. Tea and coffee are supplied by the Club. Bring your own sandwich makings.
Why not make a "bacon and egg buttie" before heading back out for another round on the range!
Ladies and Gents toilets
If you want to practice your reaction time and aim without firing a shot, the SUREFIRE shooting simulator which is located in the clubhouse is there for you, ask one of the crew to get it set up with your gun.
Clubhouse Trivia
In front of the clubhouse as you enter is the original farm cottage for the property. Some if its exterior is covered with the remnants of fake stone. If you look carefully inside the clubhouse, you will notice some of the stonework is fake and areas of the concrete floor sound hollow.
The clubhouse was built in 2003 as part of a movie set where Veronica Guerin was filmed. The film, starring Cate Blanchett, is about the Irish Independant newspaper journalist Veronica Guerin, whose investigation into the Dublin drug trade led to her eventual murder in 1996.
